Getting to Work

Wow, it took me forever to get this new blog up. I've been very busy with trying to finally settle into life as a full timer ....meaning, auditioning, classes and all the other things that go along with trying to survive in this world. Well I did book a job with a major pharmaceutical supply company....even if it was only as an extra, at least I was a doctor. It's funny going on set as an extra, because you really get to sit back and watch it all happen. I did get to do the occasional walk by in the background and look like I was really busy working as a doctor. It's all good and the pay wasn't bad. Things are finally starting to pick up for me here in Florida, I booked a job with Home Shopping Network......finally, after going to their studio six other times for auditions....I was starting to give up on them but a client finally liked my look. Well that's about it for now. I will try to keep the blogs coming more regularly.....check back in a week!!!

Where should I start....well first of all, I'm now living in sunny Florida. I never thought I would ever live in Florida..funny how life has a way of changing things on you. Over the span of my career I have lived in Los Angeles, California, Great Britain, Germany, Ohio -my hometown... that's right, I'm a Buckeye girl and now Flo...Rida... There have been many reasons why I have lived in so many places but I think I'll focus on Florida for now. So with that said, I would like to have you join me on my journey to success! WHAT'S UP! It's Been A While

I can't believe how life gets away from you. Since moving back from China in 2013 I've been busy trying to find my way back into my acting career in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio. After living in Los Angeles for 10 years, I never thought I could find as much acting work anywhere else but LA. That is not the case today. The acting industry has changed considerably since the rise of globalism and access to the internet has opened up. When I started this blog I was living in Tampa, Florida and now I am back in Columbus, Ohio, where I was born and raised. I've been slowly finding my voice again since moving back from China, almost 5 years ago! Within this time I have had some major growth in my career as an actor and I know now that I am finally ready to move to the next level of my career, not because of anything but my own maturity as an older woman now.
